Nice step by step tutorial on adding a paypal button. Unless you do something like this on a regular basis it’s difficult to remember every step. Having this as a reference will make it much easier to do next time.

Yes, I would have to agree with you.

I myself am guilty of not including very many images in some of my ebooks in the past, but after the response I have gotten from this post alone, I think that is going to be changing.

I have always known that it is much easier to visualize when there are a lot of graphics included, and have done that a lot in the past on documentation that I do for work. Not sure why I haven’t done it more for my ebooks.

How I wish all step by step tutorials were furnished with graphics like yours? It’s much easier to understand especially for those where English are not their number one language, like me.

Hi Brett

Excellent post, I had set up my first Paypal button only a couple of months ago and the one thing that I struggled with was getting Paypal to redirect to the download page after payment was received, even though I had put in the download url in the box as you have described.

My problem was that I hadn’t set up Website Payment Preferences under Selling Preferences on my profile.

In here you need to click on the radio button which says Auto Return on and then give it a download url. If you have multiple payment buttons then the url that you state in each individual payment button will overwrite this one.
